Agentic pentesting uses multiple specialized AI agents, each with distinct roles and capabilities, that collaborate on security assessments. This mirrors how elite red teams operate: specialists in reconnaissance, exploitation, and reporting work together, sharing intelligence and coordinating their efforts.

APVISO's agentic architecture uses four agents: the recon agent maps attack surface using tools like subdomain enumeration and port scanning; the pentester agent tests for specific vulnerability classes; the lead agent coordinates strategy and prioritizes targets; and the reporter agent documents findings with evidence and remediation guidance.
