In your Google Chat space, add an incoming webhook via the space settings. Copy the generated webhook URL for use in APVISO.

Add the Webhook to APVISO

The integration covers the full scan lifecycle. When a scan starts, Google Chat receives a notification with the target URL and scan type. Progress updates can be sent at configurable intervals. When the scan completes, a summary card shows total findings by severity, scan duration, and links to the full report and individual findings.

Thread-Based Discussion

Google Chat's threading feature works naturally with APVISO notifications. When a Critical finding is posted, team members can reply in a thread to discuss the vulnerability, assign ownership, and coordinate remediation — all within the context of the original finding notification.
