APVISO's Telegram integration sends penetration testing alerts directly to Telegram chats via the Bot API. For teams and individuals who prefer Telegram's speed, cross-platform availability, and lightweight design, this integration ensures security findings are always within reach.

Bot-Based Notifications

The integration uses a Telegram bot to send messages. When APVISO's AI agents discover a vulnerability, the bot sends a formatted message to your configured chat — whether that is a group, channel, or direct message. Messages include the vulnerability title, severity level, affected endpoint, and a link to the full finding in APVISO.

Telegram's push notification system ensures these messages reach your phone, tablet, or desktop immediately. For on-call security personnel, this provides a reliable alerting channel that works across all devices.

Message Formatting

APVISO uses Telegram's Markdown formatting to structure finding notifications. Severity levels are clearly labeled, vulnerability titles are bold, and affected endpoints are formatted as code. Each message ends with an inline button linking to the finding detail page in APVISO.

Scan completion summaries provide a structured overview: total findings by severity, scan duration, target URL, and a link to the full report. This format gives you a complete picture of the scan results at a glance.

Groups and Channels

For team use, add the APVISO bot to a Telegram group where all members can see and discuss findings. For broader visibility, use a Telegram channel where the bot posts findings as broadcast messages. You can configure multiple chat destinations with different severity filters — for example, send all findings to the team group but only Critical findings to an executive channel.

Configuration and Filtering

Each Telegram destination can have its own severity threshold and event filter. A typical configuration sends Critical and High findings immediately while batching Medium and Low findings into a daily summary. You can also filter by scan event type, receiving only finding notifications or including scan start and completion events.
