Trigger-Based Automation

APVISO provides several trigger events that kick off Zapier workflows (Zaps). When a vulnerability is discovered, a scan completes, or a report is generated, Zapier receives the event data and executes your configured workflow. Each trigger includes detailed data — finding triggers include severity, title, endpoint, and category; scan triggers include finding counts, duration, and target information.

Connecting to Any Tool

Zapier's library of 6,000+ app integrations means you can route APVISO data to virtually any tool. Common examples include creating tickets in project management tools that APVISO does not have a native integration with, logging findings to Google Sheets or Airtable for custom tracking, sending SMS alerts via a messaging service, posting to niche communication tools, and updating CRM records when a client's scan completes.

Workflow Logic and Filtering

Zapier's built-in tools let you build sophisticated workflows. Use filters to route only Critical findings to urgent channels while sending Low findings to a spreadsheet. Use formatters to transform APVISO data into the format your destination app expects. Use branching (Paths) to send findings to different destinations based on severity, vulnerability type, or target domain.

Multi-Step Workflows

A single Zap can perform multiple actions. When APVISO discovers a Critical finding, a multi-step Zap could create a Jira ticket, post to Slack, send an SMS to the on-call engineer, and add a row to a tracking spreadsheet — all from a single trigger event. APVISO Actions

Beyond triggers, APVISO provides action steps in Zapier. The Start Scan action lets you trigger APVISO scans from events in other apps.
